Part One: Description

Carbon Black N990 is produced by Thermal cracking processing. Generally, thermal cracking carbon black is produced by cracking natural gas with air heated to 1300 ℃. It is composed of a large amount of spherical, elliptical carbon and a small number of fusion particles. It has a large particle size, small specific surface area, low structure, easy dispersion, good fluidity, and high Filling volume and other characteristics. Because of its low surface activity, it is also called non-reinforced carbon black. It is one of the more widely used in tire inner liners, hoses, tapes, oil seals and fluoroelastomer products.

Part Two: Application

Carbon Black N990 is a low-structure fine particle thermal cracking carbon black with a particle size of 100-200nm. This product is suitable for natural rubber and various synthetic rubbers. It is easy to disperse and can give the rubber a high stiffness, fast extrusion speed, small mouth expansion and smooth extrusion surface. Vulcanizates have good high-temperature resistance and thermal conductivity, as well as good reinforcement, elasticity and recovery. When this product is used for a butyl rubber inner tube, it is best to use it together with N660. The use of thermal cracking carbon black compound has good processing performance and does not affect the vulcanization speed. Vulcanized rubber has low hardness, high elasticity, low heat generation, small deformation, good resistance to bending and aging, but low tensile strength.
